Remove the charge pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Charge) - Remove". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove bolts (4) and cover (3). Separate base (1) from housing (2). Remove gear assemblies (5) from housing (2). Note: Mark the orientation of gear assemblies (5) for assembly purpose.

Remove bearing assembly (9) from gear assemblies (6) and (8). Remove bearing assembly (7) from gear assemblies (6) and (8).

Remove seal (10) and backup seal (11) from bearing assembly (9).

Remove seal (12) and backup seal (13) from bearing assembly (7).

Remove O-ring seal (14) from housing (2). Repeat for the opposite side of housing (2).

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (15). Remove shaft seal (16) from base (1).
