A     190-5213     Axle Lifting Tool Gp     2    Note: Ensure that the mating surfaces of the oscillating axle assembly and the rear frame are clean prior to the installation of the oscillating axle assembly.
Open the rear fenders. Secure the left side fender to the operator station.
Position the rear axle assembly under the rear frame.

Note: When raising the rear axle assembly to the rear frame, ensure that the dowels and the bolt holes in the trunnion supports align with the holes in the mounts of the rear frame.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the rear axle assembly. The weight of the rear axle assembly is approximately 2515 kg (5545 lb). Raise the rear axle assembly to the rear frame.

Install six nuts (13), the lock nuts and the washers that hold rear trunnion support (14) to the rear loader frame. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1000 125 N m (735 90 lb ft).

Install four nuts (11), the lock nuts and the washers that hold front trunnion support (12) to the rear loader frame. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1000 125 N m (735 90 lb ft).Note: Install wood blocks between the rear axle housing and the rear main frame on both sides of the machine. This will prevent the axle housing from oscillating during the installation procedure.
Lower the rear fenders.

On machines equipped with the optional axle oil cooling system, connect axle oil cooling hose assembly (9) .

On machines equipped with the optional axle oil cooling system, connect hose assembly (7) .
Connect hose assemblies (6) and (8) .
Connect breather hose assembly (5) .

Connect lubrication hose assembly (3) to the top of front trunnion support (4) .

Connect lubrication hose assembly (1) to the top of rear trunnion support (2) .
Lubricate the rear axle trunnion bearings. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Rear Axle Trunnion Bearings - Lubricate".
Fill the rear differential and final drive assemblies. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil (With Axle Oil Cooler) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil (Without Axle Oil Cooler) - Change".
Purge the air from the braking system. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, Braking System, "Braking System Air - Purge".
Check the oil level of the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".End By:
Install the rear drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Rear) - Remove and Install".
Install the torque converter bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly, "Bottom Guard (Torque Converter) - Remove and Install".
Install the transmission bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly, "Bottom Guard (Transmission) - Remove and Install".
Install the rear tire and rim assemblies. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly, "Tire and Rim - Install".
Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly And Assembly,
