Remove O-ring seal (18) from pulley adapter (7).
Remove seven clutch plates (19) and seven friction discs (20) from pulley adapter (7).

Use a screwdriver in order to remove snap ring (21) from pulley adapter (7).

Remove annular shim (22) and spring washer (23) from pulley adapter (7).

Remove clutch piston (24) from pulley adapter (7).

Remove ring seal (25) and ring seal (26) from clutch piston (24).

Attach Tooling (F) to the fan drive. Position a suitable lifting device to Tooling (F). Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist.
Remove bolts (27) and the washers that secure bearing retainer (28) to pulley adapter (7).
Remove bearing retainer (28) from pulley adapter (7). The weight of bearing retainer (28) and the fan clutch shaft is approximately 82 kg (180 lb).

Remove O-ring seal (29) from pulley adapter (7).

Remove two ring seals (30) from fan clutch shaft (31).
Remove two oil tubes (32) from fan clutch shaft (31).

Use Tool (G) in order to remove snap ring (33) from fan clutch shaft (31).

Use a screwdriver in order to remove snap ring (34) from bearing retainer (28).

Position bearing retainer (28) and fan clutch shaft (31) on a suitable press, as shown. Use the press in order to remove fan clutch shaft (31) from bearing retainer (28). Note: Spacer (35) (not shown) will be contained in bearing retainer (28) between the lip seal and bearing (36).

Place bearing retainer (28) on wood blocks, as shown. Use Tooling (C) and a hammer in order to remove bearing (36) (not shown) from bearing retainer (28).

Remove wear sleeve (38) from fan clutch shaft (31). Remove retainer (39) from fan clutch shaft (31).

Remove bolt (40), the washer, and retainer (41) that secures speed sensor (42) to fan clutch shaft (31).
Remove speed sensor (42) and the O-ring seal from fan clutch shaft (31).
