Install a 40000 kPa (5800 psi) pressure gauge and test hose into pressure tap (1).

Disconnect solenoid valve (2) on the motor for brake cooling. When the solenoid valve is disconnected, the motor for brake cooling will be at maximum flow.
Performing this relief valve adjustment at engine speeds higher than low idle can result in an overspeed condition for the gear motor for the rear axle cooling fan. An overspeed condition can result in damage to the gear motor for the rear axle cooling fan.
Start the engine and run the engine at low idle.

Turn set screw (3) on relief valve (4) to adjust pressure. Adjust the pressure to 18300 520 kPa (2650 75 psi).Note: Always make pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.
