Service Brake Pedal
Service Brake Pedal Applied - Push the service brake pedal down to apply the brakes, and slow or stop the machine. Use the brakes on a downgrade to keep the engine from overspeeding. Service Brake Pedal Released - Release the service brake pedal to allow the machine to move, or increase ground speed.Parking Brake
Parking Brake - The parking brake is located on the left side of the dash of the machine.To apply the parking brake, push the service brake pedal down and push the parking brake knob in.To release the parking brake, push in the service brake pedal and pull out on the parking brake knob.Transmission Direction and Speed Control
Transmission Direction and Speed Control Lever - The transmission direction and speed control lever is located on the left side of the operator's seat. The lever controls the transmission neutral and three speeds forward or reverse. Forward (1.) - To operate the machine in a forward direction move the lever to the right and pull back to desired speed. Neutral (2.) - Center position. Reverse (3.) - To operate the machine in a reverse direction move the lever to the left and pull back to desired speed.Transmission Neutral Lock
The transmission neutral lock is located on the left side of the operator seat and on the front side of the transmission direction and speed control lever. Unlocked - Pull lever up to unlock the transmission neutral lock. Locked - Push lever down to lock the transmission neutral lock.Governor Control
Governor Control Handle - The governor control handle is located on the end of the transmission direction and speed control lever. The knob controls the engine speed. Turn the knob in a clockwise direction to increase the engine speed. Turn the knob in a counterclockwise direction to decrease the engine speed. Turn the knob counterclockwise fully to stop the engine.Steering Clutch/Brake Control
There are two steering clutch/brake control pedals. The left pedal controls the left steering clutch and brake. The right pedal controls the right steering clutch and brake. Left Steering Brake/Clutch Pedal - Push the left pedal down to steer the machine to the left. The rate of steering is controlled by how far the pedal is pushed down.When a slight pedal pressure is felt while pushing down, the pedal will be entering the braking position.Push the pedal all the way down to brake the left track for a pivot turn. Right Steering Brake/Clutch Pedal - Push the right pedal down to steer the machine to the right. The rate of steering is controlled by how far the pedal is pushed down.When a slight pedal pressure is felt while pushing down, the pedal will be entering the braking position.Push the pedal all the way down to brake the right track for a pivot turn.
