Start By:
Remove the bucket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket - Remove".
Remove the tilt cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tilt Cylinder - Remove and Install".
Open the bypass valve. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lowering the Equipment with the Accumulator Discharged".

Use a suitable lifting device and pin assembly (2) in order to support lift arms (1). The weight of lift arms (1) is approximately 1179 kg (2600 lb). Position Tooling (A) under lift arms (1). Support lift arms (1) with Tooling (A). Remove all mounting hardware from tube assemblies (3). Position tube assemblies (3) out of the way.

Disconnect hose assembly (4) .

Attach a suitable lifting device onto link assembly (7). The weight of link assembly (7) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb). Remove bolt (5) and pin assembly (6). Lower link assembly (7) onto suitable cribbing.

Install pin assembly (11). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin assembly (11). The weight of pin assembly (11) and tilt lever (8) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb). Remove bolt (10). Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to remove pin assembly (9). The weight of pin assembly (9) and Tooling (B) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).

Remove tilt lever (8) .

Remove lip seal (12). Repeat for the opposite side.

Use Tooling (C) to remove sleeve bearings (13) .
