Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine or release of air pressure or oil pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To help prevent possible injury before testing and adjusting any air system or hydraulic system, perform the procedure in the Testing and Adjusting, "General Information" section.
Use caution to avoid possible personal injury when adjusting the bucket positioner.Stop the engine and lower all equipment to relieve the hydraulic pressure.Engage the parking brake and block the tires to prevent sudden movement of the machine.Keep unauthorized personnel off the machine.
Use caution to avoid possible personal injury when adjusting the implement lift kickout.Keep personnel off the machine. Clear the area when working under or around the implement linkage.With the implement raised, proper support must be provided for the implement and/or the linkage.

Be certain that the lift kickout and the bucket positioner are correctly located. Refer to Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, RENR2513, "Lift Kickout - Adjust" and to Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting, RENR2513, "Bucket Positioner - Adjust".
Use the following procedure to adjust the length of each rod (4) in rod end (1) and ball joint (5) on each control lever (6) :Note: Make the adjustment so that detent roller (8) will keep lift control lever (6) in the RAISE position and the control valve stem in the FLOAT position. The valve spool must be able to fully travel in either direction.Note: The detent roller for the tilt control lever must hold the lever and the control valve stem in only the TILT position. The valve spool must be able to fully travel in either direction.
Move lift control lever (6) so that detent roller (8) keeps the lever in the RAISE position.
Turn locknut (2) on rod (4) for the lift control until the nut is against washer (3). Turn the locknut by three additional turns against the washer. Repeat this procedure for locknut (2) on the tilt control.
Move lift control lever (6) so that detent roller (8) keeps the lever in the FLOAT position. Turn locknut (7) on rod (4) until the nut is against washer (11). Turn the locknut by three additional turns against the washer.
Raise the bucket to the highest point. Tilt the bucket to the limit. This will ensure that kickout solenoids (10) are energized when the key switch is in the ON position. The kickout solenoids must have electrical power in order to pull in the solenoid plunger. Use either wooden blocks or jack stands to support the lift arms and the bucket in this position.
Be certain that the key switch is in the ON position in order to engage the kickout solenoids. Each solenoid plunger should be pulled into the solenoid body. Measure the distance
