Install (9) and secure using cable strap (10).
Connect Connector plug assembly (C) connector to the newly installed PL641 or PL631 Cellular radio.
Connect Connector receptacle assembly (D) connector to main cab harness (MC-C47) (H).Note: MC-C47: Pin 1 has 174-MC566-RD(Red).
Connect Connector receptacle assembly (E) connector to main cab harness (MC-C36) (G).Note: MC-C36: Pin 1 has U783-MC99-OR(Orange)
Tie strap adapter assembly (F) to main harness bundle using cable strap (11).

Remove existing antenna (J) on the ROPS first disconnecting the two coax cables running along the top of the cab. Loosen the nut below the antenna assembly and remove.
Remove old antenna bracket (K).

Install bracket (12) using bracket assembly (13), two clip (14), three hard washers (15), three bolts (16).
Install antenna assembly (17) onto the bracket (12) and tighten the nut on the underside 5 0.5 N m (44.25 4.42 lb in) as shown in Illustration 8.

Update the implement software to the appropriate flash file: - 992K: 523-5231-00 - 854K: 523-5929-00 - 993K: 523-5974-00
Update cell radio software to 512-8575 Monitor Software Gp (992K/854K and 993K) or update satellite radio software to 512-8658 Monitor Software Gp(992K/854K and 993K)
Upload cell/satellite radio config 527-6933 (992K/854K and 993K) through the "Web Configuration" home page
Key cycle the machine.
Key cycle the machine. Verify the machine serial number "product ID" still reads correct on each of the updated ECMs via CatET. If not, end the correct prime product serial number in the "product ID" field.
Reregister the machine using the Dealer Service PortalNote: For more information reference "Set the Product ID on the PLE601 Network Manager" in Installation Guide REHS8850.PL523 Software Update Instructions
Connect Comm Adapter 3 to the service port.
Using CatET 2015C or newer, update the software on the PL523 ECM to the 476-1912 Monitor Software Gp (992K/854K and 993K).Note: The ECM is labeled "VIMS Main Module" in the WinFlash ECM list.
Once the download is complete, return to CatET and select "VIMS ECM" and enter the configurations screen.
Set the "PLM Enable Status (Billing)" configuration to "Disabled".Note: This action effectively disables the 2G cellular radio in the PL523 module.PL523 Configuration File Upload
