Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the right side panel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Side Panel - Remove and Install".

Turn battery disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.

Disconnect cable assemblies (4). Disconnect harness assembly (5). Remove nuts (2) and electric starting motor (3) .Installation Procedure

Install electric starting motor (3). Install nuts (2). Tighten nuts (2) to a torque of 44 11 N m (32 8 lb ft). Connect cable assemblies (4). Tighten the nut that secures cable assemblies (4) to a torque of 21 4 N m (15 3 lb ft). Connect harness assembly (5).

Turn battery disconnect switch (1) to the ON position.End By: Install the right side panel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Side Panel - Remove and Install".
