Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the procedure needed to install the changes made to 223-4461 Base As and hardware in 196-9987 Implement Control and Mounting Gp .Required Parts

Remove seat cushions (A) and collapse the seat suspension.

View from under the console
Remove two bolts (B) and two bolts (C) with the washers from underneath the console. Bolts (B) and (C) retain the base for the ripper handle to the mounting plate and console cover. Discard two longer 30 mm (1.18 inch) bolts (C) but reuse bolts (B) and the four washers.

Unplug three electrical connections (D) and remove the ripper handle.
Transfer the components (sensors, gaskets, finger controls) from the old ripper handle to the new ripper handle.

Move push-button (E) to the upper hole of base (1) and install plug (4) in the lower hole.

Connect three electrical connectors (D) .

Install base (1) for the ripper handle using bolts (B) and bolts (2) and the four saved washers from Step 2.

Install film (3) to the right-hand console.
Check all ripper functions for proper operation.
Reinstall the seat cushion.
