Tighten the clamp bolt. Torque ... 9.5 1.0 N m (84 9 lb in)
Gently tap around the clamp with a soft faced hammer.
Tighten the clamp bolt again. Torque ... 9.5 1.0 N m (84 9 lb in) (3) Bolt Lubricate the bolt threads and the bearing surfaces with 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound. (4) Bolt Use the following procedure to install the aftercooler and tighten the bolts:
Lubricate the bores for the aftercooler's O-ring seals with glycerin. Install the bottom O-ring seal into the groove on the inlet air manifold. Install the aftercooler's remaining O-ring seals onto the aftercooler. Install the aftercooler onto the inlet air manifold.
Make sure that the aftercooler's top O-ring seal is in the groove. Install the aftercooler's cover.
Insert the bolts in order to align the cover with the aftercooler and the inlet air manifold. Tighten the corners' bolts by hand in order to compress the O-ring seals.

Tighten the bolts in the numerical order. Torque ... 24 N m (18 lb ft)
Tighten the bolts again in the numerical order. Torque ... 47 N m (35 lb ft) (5) Gap around the flange for the turbocharger's piping Make sure that the flanges' gaps are clean and dry. After the turbocharger's piping is attached to the flange, apply a bead of 4C-9614 Silicone Sealant with a diameter of 3 mm (0.1 inch) in the gaps between the piping and the flange.
