Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to the torque converter and case (11). The weight of the torque converter and case (11) is approximately 226 kg (500 lb). Install the torque converter and case (11).

Install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft). Install tube assembly (8). Install bolts (10). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to the transmission and the torque converter (4). The weight of the transmission and torque converter (4) is approximately 771 kg (1700 lb). Position the transmission and torque converter (4) onto Tooling (B). Connect harness assembly (7) .

Install yoke (6). Install the washer and bolt (5). Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the transmission and torque converter (4). The weight of the transmission and torque converter (4) is approximately 771 kg (1700 lb). Position the transmission and torque converter (4) onto Tooling (B) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to pump group (1). The weight of pump group (1) is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Install pump group (1). Install bolts (3) .

Install bolts (2) .End By: Connect the transmission and the torque converter to the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine from Torque Converter and Transmission - Connect".
