Do not perform service work around center of loader with the safety link disconnected.
2. Remove the steering cylinder rod end pin retaining bolt (2) and washer. Drive the rod end pin up and out of the frame.3. Start the diesel engine, and turn the steering wheel until steering cylinder is retracted. Shut the engine off.4. Remove the head end oil line (1) from the steering cylinder. 5. Disconnect the rod end oil line (3). Install plugs in openings in cylinder and oil lines.6. Attach a hoist to the steering cylinder, and remove the head end pin retaining bolt and washer. Drive the head end pin (4) up and out of frame.7. Remove the steering cylinder - weight 250 lb. (113 kg).Install Steering Cylinders
1. Using a hoist, position the steering cylinder on rear frame and install the head end pin, retaining bolt and washer.2. Remove the plugs from cylinder and from oil line. Connect the rod end oil line to the steering cylinder. Install head end oil line.3. Start the diesel engine and extend the cylinder into position in front frame. Shut engine off.
Make sure safety link is connected before working around center of loader.
4. Install the rod end pin, washer, and retaining bolt.5. Disconnect the safety link and place in storage position.6. Check the oil level in hydraulic tank, and add as necessary.
