Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove hose (1) and hose (5) from turbocharger (7) .
Remove tube assembly (2) from turbocharger (7) .
Disconnect tube assembly (6) from turbocharger (7) .
Loosen band clamp (4) .
Remove four nuts (3) (not shown) in order to remove turbocharger (7). Use two people to remove turbocharger (7) .Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Use two people to install turbocharger (7) and four nuts (3) (not shown).
Connect tube assembly (6) on turbocharger (7) .
Tighten band clamp (4) .
Install tube assembly (2) on turbocharger (7) .
Install hose (1) and hose (5) on turbocharger (7) .End By: Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
