Information:
1. Turn the wheels in a straight ahead position.2. Remove the bolts (1) from the oil lines that go to the cylinder.3. Remove the bolts (3) from the oil lines on the bottom of the valve.4. Remove the four bolts (2) that hold the valve on the gear assembly. Remove the control valve.Install Steering Valve
1. Put the valve in position on the steering gear assembly.2. Install the four bolts that hold the valve on the gear.3. Connect the oil lines to the valve.end by: a) adjust steering valveAdjust Steering Valve
1. Lift and block the front of the machine so the front wheels are off the ground.2. Turn the wheels in a straight forward position. Make sure the steering wheel turns freely. This is needed to let the control valve actuator go to the neutral position.3. Remove the covers from both ends of the valve. 4. Loosen the bolt (1) that holds the spool. Hold the spool with a screwdriver to keep it from turning. 5. Adjust the spool (2) by turning it in the correct direction until the slotted end is even with the face of the valve body (3).6. Hold the spool in position with the screwdriver and tighten the bolt to 35 to 40 lb.ft. (4,8 to 5,5 mkg).7. Install the cover on the locking bolt end of the valve body. 8. Install the vented cover and O-ring seal over the slotted end of the spool and install the retainer and seal (4) on cover (5). Correct spool adjustment gives the same oil flow to the steering cylinder in either a right or a left turn. If the machine goes to the right or left when no turn is made in that direction, make an adjustment to the spool to stop the drift. Turn the spool clockwise to correct for a drift to the left. Turn the spool counterclockwise to correct for a drift to the right.9. Remove the blocks and put the front of the machine on the ground.Disassemble Steering Valve
start by: a) remove steering valve1. Remove the covers from both ends of the valve body. 2. Remove the bolt (1) and washer. 3. Turn spool (2) counterclockwise to remove it from the actuator lever (3).4. Remove the valve spool (2).5. Remove the two O-ring seals from valve spool.6. Remove the pin that holds the actuator lever.7. Remove the actuator lever (3).Assemble Steering Valve
1. Put the actuator lever (2) in position in the valve body and install the lever pin (1). 2. Install the O-ring seals (3) and (5) on the valve spool (4).3. Position the valve spool (4) in valve body.4. Turn the spool clockwise to install it in the actuator lever.5. Install the bolt and washer. Do not tighten the bolt until adjustment has been made.end by: a) install steering valveb) make adjustment of steering valve
