Section (1) supplies oil for the clutch operation of the torque converter and transmission. Section (2) of the pump supplies the oil for the operation of the torque converter. Section (2) also supplies oil for the lubrication of the power train.The oil pump is mounted on the housing of the torque converter. Pump gear (3) is driven by a pump drive gear in the torque converter.Oil flows through two magnetic screens in the reservoir of the output transfer gear case. The oil is then pumped through filters for each section of the pump.
