Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Open the left side engine enclosure.

Slide the locking tab into the unlocked position.
Disconnect harness assembly (1) .Note: The boost pressure sensor has a three-wire plug.

Remove boost pressure sensor (2) and the O-ring seal.Installation Procedure
Install boost pressure sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate the new O-ring seal with Tooling (A) .
Tighten the boost pressure sensor to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
