An improved rear gear group is now available for applications that use reverse engine rotation. The new 271-5800 Conversion Arrangement utilizes opposite helix gears which will load the gears and camshaft retainers for reverse rotation engines in the same direction of thrust as standard rotation engines.The camshaft retainers are also improved. The camshaft retainers now include grooves and ramps in order to improve lubrication.Table 1 lists the new parts in the 271-5800 Conversion Arrangement.
