Front of Machine (1) Water tank (2) Water fill port (3) Water level sight gageWater tank (1) is located behind the fuel tank at the front of the machine. Water tank fill port (2) is on the left side of the tank. The water tank is made of black polyethylene to reduce algae growthThe fill port of the water tank contains a mesh filter which prevents large debris from entering the tank. The refill capacity of the water tank is 401 L (106 US gal). Water level sight gage (3) is located below the fill port.

Left Below Water Tank (4) Shut off valve (5) Drain plugWater tank (1) can be isolated from the spray system to allow draining of the system under freezing conditions or for maintenance. Two shut off valves (4) are located on the bottom of the tank. The valves are installed on both sides of the tank.Drain plug (5) is located on the bottom left of the tank. Water tank (1) can be drained fully using this component.

Center Below Water Tank (6) Water pump and motor groupThe machine is equipped with a water pump and motor group (6). This group contains an electric motor and a diaphram pump. The pump is driven by the electric motor. The water pump and motor group is located under the rear of the water tank. A cover and a plate must be removed to access the group. The electric motor receives power from the water pump relay.The pump contains an internal bypass valve. The valve limits the pressure in the water spray system to a maximum of 446 kPa (50 psi).

Front of Machine (7) Water filterThe machine is equipped with water filter (7). The water filter is located under the front of the machine, above the front wheels. Water filter (7) is connected between water tank (1) and the water pump. The water filter ensures that particulate in the tank is filtered before the pump. The water filter can be opened and cleaned as required.The water pump draws water from water tank (1) through water filter (7). The water pump supplies water to the front spray bars and to the rear spray bars.

Wheels of Machine (8) Supply line (9) Spray bars (10) Drain valve (11) Spray nozzlesThe machine is equipped with four water spray bars (9). The front set of water spray bars are mounted above the tires on the front of the machine. The rear set of spray bars (shown) are mounted above the tires on the rear of the machine.Supply line (8) delivers filtered water from the water pump to spray bars (9) and spray nozzles (11). The spray nozzles contain strainers with integral ball check valves to prevent draining of the system when the system is disabled.Each water spray bar (9) has drain valve (10). The drain valves can be opened to drain associated spray bar or the entire water spray system.Note: To protect the water spray system components under freezing
