Install the other end of the 177-7860 Hose Assembly to the pressure tap for the signal pressure of the pump (1) .
Install a 177-7860 Hose Assembly to the pressure tap for the pump output that is located on the top of the bank valve. Install an 8T-0860 Pressure Gauge 40000 kPa (5800 psi) to the other end of the hose assembly.
Start the engine. Run the engine at HIGH idle.
Warm the oil to the operating temperature .
Raise the lift arms slowly.
The difference between the two gauges is the margin pressure. The margin pressure should be 2000 100 kPa (290 15 psi).
If the margin pressure is correct, lower the lift arms to the ground. Shut off the machine. Disconnect the diagnostic equipment.
If the margin pressure is not correct, stop the engine. Refer to "Adjustment of the Margin Pressure".Adjustment of the Margin Pressure

Loosen the locknut (5) .
Rotate the adjusting bolt (6) clockwise in order to increase the margin pressure or rotate the adjusting bolt (6) counterclockwise in order to decrease the margin pressure.
Tighten the locknut (5) .
Perform the test for the margin pressure in order to verify the margin pressure after you adjust the margin spring.
When the margin pressure is correct, stop the engine. Remove all diagnostic equipment.Standby Pressure
