Position hood (15) onto the Air-To-air Aftercooler (ATAAC) assembly with Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device. The weight of the hood is 227 kg (500 lb).
Install mountings (12), sleeves (11), washers (10) , bolts (9), washers (13), and nuts (14) to the ATAAC assembly. Tighten the bolts and the nuts to a torque of 120 20 N m (88 15 lb ft).

Position clamp (8) and precleaner assembly (7) on the hood.
Secure clamp (8) and precleaner assembly (7) with nut (6).

Position hose (5) in place.
Tighten clamp (4) to hose (5).

Position clip (1) and the hoses to bracket (2).
Install washers and bolts (3) to clip (1). End By:
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Install".
