Install aligning bearing (35) in the rod assembly.
Install lip type seal (34) on both sides of the rod assembly. Note: Use dimension (C) when you install lip type seal (34). Dimension (C) is 3 1 mm (0.12 0.04 inch).

If hydraulic fitting (32) was removed from rod assembly (24), install the hydraulic fitting.Note: Apply 129-1948 Grease to grease fitting (32). Do not lubricate the bearing and seals in excess.
If plug (33) was removed from guide (25), install the plug.
Position the rod assembly in the guide.

Install spacer (31) and bolt (30) on rod assembly (24) .
Install O-ring seal (29) on guide (25) .

Install sleeve bearing (28) in cylinder (8) .

If hex socket plug (27) and the O-ring seal was removed from cylinder (8), install the hex socket plug and the O-ring seal.

Install cylinder (8) to guide (25) with rod assembly (24) .
Install four socket head bolts (26) .

Use Tool (A) to install accumulator assembly (7) and the O-ring seal to the manifold. Tighten the accumulator assembly to a torque of 175 15 N m (129 11 lb ft).
Install support assembly (19), strap assembly (20) and the two locknuts to accumulator assembly (7) .Note: Do not tighten the two locknuts on the strap at this time.
If pipe elbow (22) was removed, install the pipe elbow. Install hose (18) with clamp (23). Tighten the clamp.
Install valved nipple assembly (21) and dust cap (17) on manifold (6) .Note: Do not use any thread sealant on the threads of the valved nipple assembly.

Install O-ring seal (16) and valve (15) in manifold (6) .
Install washer (14), O-ring seal (13) and needle valve (12) in the manifold. Tighten needle valve (12) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).

Turn the manifold in order to install O-ring seal (11) .

Use a strap and a suitable lifting device to position accumulator assembly (7), manifold (6) and support assembly (10) on cylinder (8) .
Install four bolts (5) and the four washers.
Attach two bolts (9) and the two washers.Note: Leave bolts (9) slightly loose. Align the strap assembly on the accumulator assembly with the support assembly. Tighten the two locknuts and tighten bolts (9) .

Position guard assembly (1) on the manifold and the cylinder.
Install two bolts (2), bolt (4) and the washers.Note: Do not tighten these bolts until the washer, the O-ring seal and the needle valve has been installed.
Install the washer, the O-ring seal and needle valve (3). Tighten the needle valve to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).End By: Install the belt tensioner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Tensioner - Install".
