(1) Tack weld the steel plate to the top plate of the hydraulic jack.Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock.

Position Tooling (A) and suitable cribbing in order to support power train guard (3) on the opposite end of the hinged end. The weight of power train guard (3) is approximately 415 kg (915 lb).
Remove bolt (2). Repeat this step for the opposite side.
Remove bolts (1) and the washers from power train guard (3). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.
Note: Power train guard (3) may contain a significant amount of rock, dirt, liquids and debris, which will result in significant additional weight.
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to carefully lower power train guard (3).

Remove pin (5) in order to disconnect guard cylinder (4) from power train guard (3).

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to raise power train guard (3) into the raised position.
Install the washer and one bolt (1). Install bolt (2). Repeat this step on the opposite side of the machine.

Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.
Reposition Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to support the entire power train guard (3).
Remove bolts (6) and the washer. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.
Remove bolt (1) and the washer. Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable cribbing in order to carefully lower power train guard (3).

Disconnect hose assemblies (8). Remove pin (7). Remove guard cylinder (4). Installation Procedure
Install power train guard (3) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
