Information:

When service or maintenance with liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquid nitrogen must be performed, always wear appropriate personal protective equipment as defined by local rule and regulations.Failure to follow these instructions could result in personal injury.
Only qualified service personnel should perform service on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) systems. The below procedure is to clean or inspect the LNG inlet fill strainer. The clean or inspect procedure should be performed every 1000 hrs. or if fuel fill is slow or shutting off prior to establishing full flow. The fuel fill can be slowed down by debris in the inlet fill strainer, adding extra restriction on the inlet flow. Debris can come from contamination of the nozzle and fill receptacle prior to or during connecting to the LNG fill station. The LNG itself could also contain debris. Failure to clean and inspect the LNG inlet fill strainer could lead to premature failure of DGB components, leading to unexpected downtime of the machine. Debris can get caught in the sealing seats of various components causing excessive damage to the seat and therefore reducing sealing capabilities. Once the component cannot seal the gas, there could be unintentional leakage of the gas. These procedures require the opening of a line that under normal operation flows LNG and contains pressurized natural gas. Use caution throughout these procedures.Clean and/or Replace
The strainer is stainless steel and intended to be reusable, unless damaged. If the strainer is damaged proceed with replacing with a new strainer. When cleaning the strainer be sure to clean in both flow directions to free any debris caught by the strainer before reinstalling strainer. When reinstalling the strainer, ensure that the mesh is dry otherwise moisture can enter the tank and cause issues. The strainer is bidirectional.Note: Gaskets must be replaced if joint is taken apart for any
