Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the deflector plates. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Deflector Plates (Strike-Off) - Remove and Install".
Start the engine and lower the screed on wood blocks.

Remove nuts (1) .

Remove nuts (2) .
Start the engine. Raise the screed from the screed plate (3). Move the machine away from the screed plate. Stop the engine.

Remove spacer bar (4) and remove studs (5) .Installation Procedure

Apply Loctite 272 to the threads of the studs (5). Install studs (5) .
Install spacer plate (4) .

Align the screed with the screed plates (3). Lower the screed on top of the screed plates (3) .
Apply Loctite 272 to the nuts (2). Install nuts (2) .

Apply Loctite 272 to the nuts (1). Install nuts (1) .End By: Install deflector plates. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Deflector Plates (Strike-off) - Remove and Install".
