Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (9) and the air inlet elbow.
Position turbocharger (9) on the engine. The weight of the turbocharger is approximately 100 kg (220 lb).
Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (8). Install bolts (8) and tighten to a torque of 20 2 N m (15 1 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (6). Install bolts (6) and tighten to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device from turbocharger (9) and the air inlet elbow.

Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (5). Install bolts (5) and tighten to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).
Connect tube assemblies (2) and (3). Note: Prior to connecting tube assembly (1), pour some clean engine oil in tube assembly (1). This will help to lubricate the bearings in the turbocharger during start-up.
Connect tube assemblies (1) and (4).
Fill the coolant system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities and Recommendations".
