Install two O-ring seals (18) and seal assembly (19) into collar (17) .

Apply Tooling (E) to the outer diameter of the collars.
Install collars (2) into the bores in the hinge plates on the bucket.Note: Install the collars with the counterbore toward the lift arm.Note: Use a suitable lifting device in order to support the weight of the pin during installation. The weight of the pin is approximately 100 kg (220 lb).

Attach a suitable lifting device to bucket (15), as shown. The weight of the bucket is approximately 21,954 kg (48,400 lb). Position bucket (15), as shown. Align the bores in bucket (15) with the bores in arm assembly (20) .

If necessary, install shims (16) between the arm assembly and the bucket. Install enough shims (16) in order to eliminate the gaps between the arm assembly and the bucket.Note: Apply Tooling (D) to the bore of the bearing before the pin is installed.

Coat pin (10) thoroughly with SAE 80 or SAE 90 oil.
Install pin (10) .

Install plate (1) with bolt (12) and washer (13) .

Install plate (9) with bolts (7) and washers (8) .

Insert shim pack (4) in order to eliminate gaps between the flag retainer and the bracket on the bucket.
Install bolt (5) and washer (6) .
Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 2700 300 N m (2000 220 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
Repeat Step 14 through Step 22 for the remaining pin assembly.

Install four bolts (21), the washers, and the nuts in arm assembly (20). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 800 100 N m (590 75 lb ft).
Install two bolts (A), the washers, and the spacers in arm assembly (20) .

Position a suitable lifting device around link assembly (22). Raise link assembly (22) into the position that is shown. The weight of the link assembly is approximately 559 kg (1232 lb).
Position a suitable lifting device around pin assembly (23). Install pin assembly (23). The weight of the pin assembly is approximately 73 kg (160 lb).

Install bolt (24), the washer, and the spacer.

Install plate (26) and O-ring seal (27) on the pin assembly. Install bolts (25) and the washers that hold plate (26) to the pin assembly.
Repeat Step 26 through Step 29 for the remaining pin assembly.Note: While the autolube system is actuated, move the implements slowly until all of the implements have been cycled through the full range of motion several times. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Bucket Control Pin and Bearing Break-In Procedure - Perform".End By:
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
