Note: For the travel spools replace (L), (M), (N), and (P) with the spring kit.
Replace the spring with a new spring. Tighten the spool end to torque of 13.6 1.4 N m (120.4 12.4 lb in).
Remove the grip clamp and tooling (A). Slide the spool back into the spool bore.

Check that there is O-Ring Seal (R) in the housing before installing the end cap.Note: Replace 6V-5586 O-Ring Seal (R) if damaged or loose.
Assemble the end cap with screws and washers. Ensure that the surrounding area is clean.

Position the ridge of the end cap facing the work-ports.
Tighten the end cap screws until the spool end cap screw is flush with the housing. Tighten the end cap screws to a torque of 10 1 N m (88.5 8.9 lb in).
Repeat Steps 1 through 12 for each non-regen spool. Use 437-2861 Spring (1) for left-hand travel (D), right-hand travel (E), and auxiliary (A) spools. Use 437-2862 Spring (2) for swing spool (G). Use 437-2863 Spring (3) for blade spool (H) .Regen Spring Replacement

Remove the two end cap screws from the spool using a M5 Allen drive. Retain the end cap washers for later reuse in the procedure.Note: The two end cap screws are required for reassembly.

Lightly pry the end cap from the valve body .

Slide the spool out from the spool bore and install tooling (A). Use a 6 mm (0.2 inch) Allen drive to remove the spool end while holding a 15 mm (0.6 inch) open-end spanner onto the Regen spool adapter.Note: The Regen spool adapter should stay in place, do not remove. If the adapter loosens during the removal of the spool end, retighten the adapter to a torque of 13.6 1.4 kPa (2.0 0.2 psi).
Slowly remove the spool end and remove the spring section.
Replace with a new spring and retighten the spool end to a torque of 13.6 1.4 kPa (2.0 0.2 psi).
Remove the grip clamp, tooling (A), and the spanner. Slide the spool back into the spool bore.
