The 1011287 Cam Gasket and the 1030731 Marine Cam Gasket has been canceled and replaced with the 1512909 Cam Gasket.
Action Required
Remove all 1011287 and 1030731 Cam Gaskets from Parts Stock and replace them with 1512909 Cam Gaskets.
Remove all 1011287 Cam Gaskets from the 7X7973, 1254372 and 1296220 Kits and replace with the 1512909 Cam Gaskets.
Remove 1030731 Cam Gaskets from the 1267851 Kits and replace with the 1512909 Cam Gaskets.
TEPS/MEPS dealers are reimbursed for recalled Parts Stock by returning the affected Parts Stock to their administering Caterpillar dealer for replacement.
Service Claim Allowances
Submit one claim for all 1011287 and 1030731 Cam Gaskets removed from Parts Stock.
US and Canadian Dealers Only - When submitting a Parts Stock claim use 99Z00007 in the Product Identification Number Field.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
