Whenever the operator presses a switch, a constant current flows to one of the IQAN modules.Boom switch (29) and door switch (31) control the flow of electricity to the following proportional solenoids: (10), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16) and the solenoids that control the harvester head. The harvester head will not operate in the following situations: open door and boom switch in the off position.Switches (18), (19), (30), (36), (37), (38), and (39) control the movement of the pendulum arms. When a switch is pressed, a constant current flows to the proportional solenoids in the pendulum arm control valve. The magnitude of the current to the solenoids can be adjusted in a IQAN-DG menu. The proportional solenoid valves are similar to on/off solenoid valves.Buttons (24) and (25) allow the machine to be steered without removing your hand from the left implement joystick. When one of the buttons is pressed, a constant current flows to proportional solenoids (16) in the implement control valve.Joystick Controls
Joysticks (20), (21), (22), and (23) allow the hydraulic functions to be controlled proportionally. A graph of the current from a joystick control is shown in Illustration 6.
