A 468-8116 Socket 1 Note: Refer to Special Instruction, REHS8151, NOx Sensors Handling and Installation Procedures for additional information when removing and installing nitrogen oxide sensors.
Remove the heat shielding.

Remove bolts (1) and plate (2).

Remove cable straps (6) and bolt (4).
Disconnect wiring harness (3) and position the harness out of the way.
Use Tooling (A) to remove nitrogen oxide sensor (5).Installation Procedure
Install nitrogen oxide sensor (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten nitrogen oxide sensor (5) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft).Note: Ensure that the NOx sensor is not covered with insulation. The insulation would trap heat in the sensor body and cable. This heat may cause sensor failure.
