The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.Install plastic cable straps on the bracket assembly of the Clean Emissions Module (CEM), using the 3S-2093 Cable Straps on small clips and the 7K-1181 Cable Straps on all other locations on the CEM bracket. On any ties off the CEM bracket, install the 488-2652 Sleeve on any single wire bundles with the steel 290-1993 Cable Strap, and 334-9645 Sleeve for larger bundles of wires wrapped with the steel 290-1993 Cable Strap.Note: Sleeves are installed for heat shielding and to prevent steel ties from rubbing through wiring.Note: Parts required could vary per application to complete the repair.The required parts are listed in Table 1.
