Description of Change: A new seal is available for the valve cover. The new press in place seal has improved sealing capability at the joint between the valve cover and the rocker base and the seal has improved service life. The new seal is made from Viton.Adaptable To: The old 203-9745 O-Ring Seal is cancelled and replaced by the new 296-5820 Seal. The new seal is adaptable to the G3500 Engines that are listed above.Note: Do not use retaining compound while you install the new seal.This change is effective with the engines that are listed in Table 1.
