Move engine start switch (6) to the START position. Release the engine start switch after the engine starts.
Move throttle control switch (7) to the HIGH IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second. The engine speed should increase to 2310 rpm.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (G). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 43 5.6°C (110 10°F).
Move throttle control switch (7) to the LOW IDLE position. Lower engine rpm to 1200 rpm. Hold the switch in this position until the engine reaches the desired rpm.

Move left auger mode switch (8) to the MANUAL position. Hold the switch in this position for a short time.
Record the pressure at port "MC" (4) as "forward pressure". The pressure should be 35165 to 39302 kPa (5100 to 5700 psi).
Hold left auger mode switch (8) in the MANUAL position. Then, move auger reverse switch (9) to the LEFT AUGER REVERSE position.
Record the pressure at port "MD" (3) as reverse pressure. The pressure should be 35165 to 39302 kPa (5100 to 5700 psi).
Release auger reverse switch (9). Release left auger mode switch (8) .
Move throttle control switch (7) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (6) to the OFF position.
Move key start switch (5) to the OFF position.
Analyze the test results by using the following procedure:
If the forward pressure and the reverse pressure are both within the specified range, the system is operating within design parameters. Go to Step 22.
If either the forward pressure or the reverse pressure is outside the specified range, replace the faulty valve. Retest the pressure.
If the forward pressure and the reverse pressure are both outside the specified range, the case drain flow through the pump may be excessive. Troubleshoot the pump. Retest the pressure.
Remove the Tooling. Connect the hose assemblies to the auger motor. Close the access doors.
