INSPECT 1T595 CARRIERS IN PARTS STOCK D8H, D8K, D9G, D9H Tractors; 583H, 583K, 594, 594H Pipelayers, 3101, PI7050 U-75 A-68 AU-62 B-27 C-69 E-60 O-57 Problem The above models use a 1T595 Carrier to mount the stator and to support the rear of the torque converter. Some carriers for parts service may have the stator locating pins and holes in the wrong location. The stator can still be assembled to the converter, but if the pins and holes are off location, serious damage to the torque converter can occur. Action Requested Inspect all parts stocks of 1T595 Carriers. Remove all carriers from stocks that do not have the letter "A" after the part number, or are not in a box with a package date code "8-83". Any carrier in a box coded "8-83" is satisfactory even though the carrier may not have the letter "A" after the part number. Warranty Allowance Submit one claim for all unsatisfactory carriers. Parts Disposition Scrap the unsatisfactory carriers in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin, "Warranty Parts Handling". (COSA Bulletin is titled "Storage And Disposition Of Parts".) Termination Date December 31, 1983.
