Aftercooler cores could have been manufactured incorrectly and may be missing the internal baffle.The missing baffle separates the inlet and outlet ports, which can result in high inlet air temperatures due to poor coolant flow in the aftercooler.Solution
Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility.
The procedure below should be used to help identify if the internal baffle in the aftercooler is missing.

Inspect the aftercooler core with a flashlight or a flexible tube to ensure that the internal baffle is present.
If using a flashlight, shine the flashlight through either port.
If the light can be seen through the opposite port, then the internal baffle is missing.
If using a flexible tube, feed the tube through either port.
If the tube can be fed through the opposite port, then the internal baffle is missing.
If either Step 2 or Step 3 is possible, then the internal baffle in the aftercooler is missing.
Inspect the aftercooler core to ensure that the internal baffle is present. In the event of a missing baffle, replace with the same part number.
