This sensor monitors the load sense pressure for the upper main control valve and reports heavy use events to the Master Load Control module. The control module for the sensor communicates the signal information to the Master Control module via the J1939 Data Link. The Master Control module sends a signal to the proportional solenoid to decrease pilot oil, when the pressure is too high. The pressure sensor information is used to control engine speed and pump control.Note: A pressure reading higher than 37921 kPa (5500 psi) for more than 1 second results in the creation of the log by the control module.

Proportional Solenoids
Proportionally remote-controlled solenoids, with enclosed spool-ends EC/ECS electro-hydraulic spool actuator. The EC/ECS are proportional, electro-hydraulically controlled spool actuators with spring centering to neutral. The solenoids are controlled remotely by the IQAN control systems. Pilot-pressure oil is led to the spool actuators through internal ducts in the directional valve. Proportional solenoids in the implement control valve control the flow of pilot oil to valve spools. When a function is activated, the IQAN sends voltage to the solenoids. The amount of voltage controls the amount of pilot oil that will flow to the valve spool.

The sine wave allows the solenoid to vibrate in position. The vibration prevents the solenoid from sticking in a position.As a joystick control is moved from the NEUTRAL position, the voltage to the proportional solenoids increases from zero (C) to the minimum voltage (B). The Minimum is the minimum voltage in order for the function to operate. As the joystick is moved further, the voltage to the solenoid is increased.
