Position the work tool with the shells in the open position on a flat surface. Refer to illustration 1 for the correct position.
Stop the engine of the host machine in order to prevent inadvertent movement of the work tool.

Check all rotator head bolts (1) in rotator group (2). If any of the rotator head bolts (1) are missing, all rotator head bolts (1) must be replaced.Head Assembly

Check all rotator head bolts (3) in head assembly (4). If any of the rotator head bolts (3) are missing, all rotator head bolts (3) must be replaced. For more information on replacing the rotator head bolts (3), refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Rotator Head Bolts - Replace".
