The hydraulic fill pump switch needs to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing hydraulic fill pump switch can be left in the ON position which can result in damage to the hydraulic fill pump. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 26Jun2013 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
Prior to completing this Rework Procedure, ensure that the machine is parked in a level and safe location, attachment is lowered to the ground, articulation lock is installed, and battery disconnect is in the OFF position.
1. Locate and remove the 4D-1836 Hydraulic Fill Pump Toggle Switch. Refer to Image1.1.1.

2. Install new 7N-8001 Hydraulic Fill Pump Momentary Toggle Switch Assembly.
Note: The master disconnect and key must be in the ON position in order to test the new momentary toggle switch assembly once installed.
