This Reman short block provides a repair option for 3304 engines in applications with a 16:1 compression ratio. When used with other Remanufactured products and reusable components from the core engine, these short blocks help reduce turnaround time. 3304 Short blocks are fully assembled with the block group, piston and connecting rod groups, and crankshaft assembly.
Core Acceptance
Core acceptance for Caterpillar Remanufactured short blocks is simple, visual and requires no special tools. See Core Acceptance Guideline SELD0026 for complete details. All 3304 short blocks are acceptable cores for this offering.
