Four latches attach the cover for each fumes disposal filter to the cannister for each fumes disposal filter. Open the latches and remove the covers.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Cat Dealer Service Tool Catalog" or refer to Special Publication, PECJ0003, "Cat Shop Supplies and Tools Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Remove the used fumes disposal filters and replace the used filter with new fumes disposal filters. The used filters may contain small amounts of oil.
Replace the covers. Secure the covers to the cannisters by fastening the latches.

Loosen the clamps which attach the return disposal lines to the cannisters. Inspect the return disposal lines and remove any accumulated liquid.
Replace the return disposal lines and tighten the hose clamps. Refer to Specifications, SENR3130, "Torque Specifications" for the proper torque.
Reset the service indicator for the fumes disposal filters by pressing the "PUSH TO RESET" button on the bottom of the indicator.
