Drive D5B TractorsDescription of Change: New plungers are used in the gearshift interlock housing on D5B Tractors with direct drive transmissions. The new plungers fit tighter in the housing. This reduces back and forth movement of the shifter fork in the engaged position. Formerly, wear between the shifter fork and sliding collar could allow the transmission to come out of gear.Adaptable To: The new 9W3306 Plunger is a direct replacement for the canceled 6T3888 Plunger in all direct drive D5B Tractors using either the 8P5367 or 8P5368 Gearshift Control Group. The part number of the new plunger is etched on the plunger.
