3412C (3JK) High Performance Marine EnginesDescription of Change: A new seawater pump manifold is being used on the above listed engines. The new manifold incorporates a boss which is cast into the manifold at a different height.Adaptable To: The new 151-5705 Manifold replaces former 100-3068 Manifold. This manifold is a component of 109-1660 Pump Group. The former 100-3068 Manifold is cancelled.
(1) 151-5705 Manifold(2) Port in 100-3067 ManifoldIf port (2) is used for water supply to an auxiliary cooler and the seawater pump does not maintain prime, then install 151-5705 Manifold (1) and relocate the water supply to the port on manifold (1). This will improve priming characteristics of the seawater pump. A different length of hose will need to be installed for this retrofit. The 100-3067 Manifold (right side) does not need to be replaced. A plug will need to be installed in port (2).
