Introduction
Production and delivery methods have changed for hydraulic component bench test procedures. Test procedures produced prior to 1January 2002 were announced in Preview, and available in printed form.Repair Process Engineering has performed the same authoring and delivery methods that are used by the Parts and Service Information Division. This process will allow the dealer bench test procedures, created or revised after 1January 2002, to be delivered via the Service Information System (SIS). Bench test procedures will be produced as Special Instructions. The Special Instructions can be accessed through SIS web and SIS DVD. A subscription is also available to dealers who have needs for printed media. The subscription will allow dealers to receive new or revised test procedures automatically. SIS Web - Information can be accessed with product ID by using: Product Structure, Document Structure, SMCS Code and Basic Search. Information can also be accessed without product ID by using: Advanced Full Text Search and Media Search.

New Pump, Motor, and Cylinder Testing Manual (Available 1January 2003) - Reference Manual, SEBF8810, "Hydraulic Pump, Motor, and Cylinder Bench Test Procedures". This reference manual provides hydraulic pump, motor, and cylinder testing procedures. By ordering SEBF8810, the recipient is automatically placed on a subscription list for future testing guidelines and updates. Individual media numbers can also be ordered.Procedures Developed Prior to 1January 2002NEHT5000 Reference Manual - The NEHT5000 Bench Testing Hydraulics Components manual contains bench test procedures for both hydraulic and driveline components. This document should be referenced for all bench test procedures developed prior to 1January 2002. The contents of this manual should be maintained to reference older procedures. When these bench test documents are included or updated into the new SEBF8810 authoring and delivery method, you will be notified to purge the procedure from NEHT5000.
