Install 9EP7861 Cam Striker (40) to the door. Refer to Illustration 18.
Test and adjust the secondary lockout by using the following procedure:
Start the engine. Operate the engine at low idle.
Move the steering control in either direction so that the steering system attempts to turn the machine.
Open the door to the operator station slowly. Open the door until the attempted steering action is stopped.
Measure the distance from the outside edge of the operator's station to the inside edge of the door. The correct measurement should be 150 50 mm (6 2 inch).
If the distance that was measured in Step 44.d is not correct, then loosen bolts (39) for the cam striker.
Move cam striker (41) toward neutralizer valve (4) in order to decrease the measurement. Move cam striker (40) away from neutralizer valve (4) in order to increase the measurement. Tighten bolts (39) .
Repeat the procedure until the correct measurement is obtained.Note: If there is not sufficient adjustment of cam striker (40), the mounting of the neutralizer valve (4) can be repositioned and the adjustment procedure repeated.
Stop the engine. Remove the steering frame lock pin. Place the steering frame lock pin in the stored position.
