FITTING 1564421 - Caterpillar

To prevent possible personal injury, make sure all the pressure in the air system has been released before any air lines are disconnected.
1. Mark and identify all hose assemblies for identification purposes. Disconnect hose assembly (2) from elbow (1).2. Disconnect hose assembly (5) from adapter (6).3. Remove two bolts (4) and the washers that hold front brake air ratio valve (3) to the inside wall of the cab. Remove front brake air ratio valve (3) from the cab. 4. Remove elbow (1) and adapter (6) from front brake air ratio valve (3). The following steps are for installation of the front brake air ratio valve. 5. Install elbow (1) and adapter (6) to front brake air ratio valve (3). 6. Put front brake air ratio valve (3) in position on the inside wall of the cab. Install two bolts (4) and the washers.7. Connect hose assembly (5) to adapter (6). Connect hose assembly (2) to elbow (1).8. Start the machine to recharge the air reservoirs.End By:a. install cab rear cover
