2. Disconnect two wires (2) from speedometer sensor assembly (3). Remove bolts (1) and lockwashers that fasten the transmission governor and drive group to the transfer gear case. 3. Install two 3/8"-16 NC guide pins (4) as shown. Use two 3/8"-16 NC forcing screws (5) to make a separation of the governor and drive group from the transfer gear case.Install Transmission Governor
1. Clean the contact surfaces of the governor and drive cover (1) and the transfer gear case.2. Inspect and make a replacement of three O-ring seals (2) if necessary. 3. Install two 3/8"-16 NC guide pins (3) in the transfer gear case. Install a new gasket between the transfer gear case and governor and drive. Put governor and drive group in position on the transfer gear case. Install the bolts and lockwashers that fasten the governor and drive group to the transfer gear case. 4. Connect two wires (4) to speedometer sensor assembly (5).
