Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.

Open side door (3).

Disconnect six hose assemblies (4). Disconnect eight hose assemblies (5). Disconnect ten hose assemblies (6).

Disconnect hose assemblies (7) and (8) for the air conditioning system. Disconnect hoses (9) and (10). Disconnect hose (11) for the windshield washer.

Disconnect harness assembly (12) for the lower wiper motor.

Disconnect harness assemblies (13) and (15). Disconnect ground strap (14). Remove clip (16).

Disconnect harness assembly (17). Remove all necessary cable straps (18) in order to free harness assembly (17).

Disconnect hose assembly (20) and remove fitting (19). Repeat for the other side.
Disconnect hose assemblies (21) and (22).

Remove rubber cover (23).

Remove bolts (25) and pedal (24).

Remove bolts (26) and reposition pilot valve (27).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to cab (28). The weight of cab (28) is approximately 1500 kg (3300 lb). The front left chain length should be approximately 1752 mm (69.0 inch). The front right chain length should be approximately 1778 mm (70.0 inch). The rear left chain length should be approximately 2108 mm (83.0 inch). The right rear chain length should be approximately 2133 mm (84.0 inch).

Front side of cab
Remove pin (29) and bolt (230). Repeat for the other side.

Rear side of cab
Remove pins (31) and bolt (32).

Use the suitable lifting device in order to remove cab (28).
