Movement of the machine could result in death or personal injury. Shut the 3208T (Engine B) diesel engine down. Tag the machine controls. Lock the main battery switch at OFF before starting work.
1. Drain the chain case. 2. Remove thirty bolts (2).3. Remove chain case cover (1). 4. Remove cotter pins (4) from the connecting links.5. Open the link.6. Remove drive chain (3). The following steps are for the installation of the chain drive.7. Wrap drive chain (3) around the sprockets.8. Install the connecting link with cotter pins (4).9. Install chain case cover (1) and gasket.10. Install thirty bolts (2). Clean thoroughly both surfaces of the chain case and cover before installing.11. Remove the breather and check plug.12. Add lubricant to the check plug level.13. Install the breather and the check plug.14. Switch the main disconnect to ON.15. Start the 3208T (Engine B) diesel engine.16. Move the lower conveyor control to F. Make sure the lower conveyor is operating. Check for leaks.17. Operate the 3208T (Engine B) diesel engine for at least five minutes to check the lower conveyor system.
