This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4451" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the June 1, 1998 (Revised June 1998) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Rework Procedure.

The engine outlet coolant hose may leak and needs to be replaced. A longer air conditioner belt and radiator bracket needs to be installed and due to vertical radiator module movement, foreign material may accumulate or wedge in the lower seal area causing a lower tank puncture.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.

Group 1
Remove the 1138132 Coolant Hose and replace it with a new 1610018 Coolant Hose.
Group 2
Remove the old strap and plate.
Install the new 1374707 Plate and the eleven 1466204 Retainers.
Group 3
Cut off the existing belt then raise the air conditioner belt centerline by installing the 7T6135 Spacers and 8T8920 Bolts.
Install the 2P6532 Belt.
Group 4
Install a new 1354553 Bracket and 140 cm of 1539516 Seal to the lower radiator area.
Group 5
Remove the exisitng bolt and add the 4E0724 Spacer, 4D7388 Clip, 8M1865 Bolt and 3E4352 Washer.
